Pizza Dough

1 cup beer (can use water for a crispier crust)
1 Tblsp. butter
2 Tblsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 3/4 cup. flour
1 Tblsp. yeast


If you have a bread maker place the ingredients in pan in order given if not, add yeast sugar and salt to beer and add in other ingredients. Let rise until double.

Preheat oven to 400.

Press dough into lightly greased 12 inch pan. Brush lightly with veg. Oil, cover, let stand 15 min. Add toppings bake 25-30 minutes.

You can also divide the dough in half and use in 2-12 inch pans if you like a thinner crust



Homemade Pizza Dough

1 cup warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
1 Tbls. cooking oil
approx. 2 cups flour


Put warm water in bowl. Add salt, sugar and yeast. Stir; add cooking oil and then flour until dough is no longer sticky. Let rise 20 min. Spread in 2 pizza pans add toppings bake at 425 for 20 minutes.
