Fancy Fast Chicken

3 whole chicken breasts, split and skinned
6 slices Swiss cheese (1 oz) each
1/4 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced (optional)
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup.
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 cups herb-seasoned stuffing mix
8 Tablespoons (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted


Preheat oven to 350.

Place chicken in lightly greased 9x13 pan.

Top each piece of chicken with Swiss cheese. Top that with mushrooms.

In small bowl mix soup and wine. Pour over chicken.

Sprinkle stuffing mix over the top and drizzle on the melted butter.

Bake for 50 or 60 minutes until the chicken is done.

If using boneless chicken breasts it only takes about 45 to 55 minutes.
