Hot Chicken Salad Ring

1 1/2 cup diced cooked chicken
1 (8 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drained
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup diced celery
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup diced bell pepper
salt and pepper, to taste
1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent rolls
1 egg, beaten


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and grease a cookie sheet.

Combine the first 7 ingredients; toss lightly. Set aside. Separate rolls into 8 triangles.

Arrange triangles on cookie sheet in a circle with the bases overlapping and the tips pointing outward. Spoon cicken salad in ring around bases of triangles, packing firmly to insure ring shape.

Fold triangle tips over filling and tuck under bases. Brush with egg. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden. Serve hot.
