Oven-Fried Chicken with Honey Sauce

1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) broiler-fryer -- cut up
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. paprika
Honey-Butter Sauce
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup butter


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Dip chicken pieces into mixture of flour, salt, pepper and paprika; melt butter in a shallow baking pan in a hot oven. Remove baking pan from oven. As pieces of floured chicken are placed in pan, turn over to coat with butter, then bake skin side down on a single layer. Bake in 400° F. oven for 30 minutes. Turn chicken.

Pour Honey-Butter Sauce over chicken. Bake another 30 minutes or until tender (lower oven temperature if
chicken appears browning too fast). Spoon Honey Butter over chicken.


Honey-Butter Sauce:
1/4 cup. melted butter
1/4 cup. lemon juice
1/4 cup honey

Melt butter and beat in honey and lemon juice.


Rice:
2 cups uncooked rice
1 can beef consomme
1 can French onion soup
1 stick melted butter


Put rice, beef consomme and French onion soup in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour melted butter over this mixture. Cover with foil and bake at 325° F. 1 1/2 hours.
