Southern Oven "Fried" Chicken
a WW recipe

2 pounds chicken pieces without skin ( I used boneless/skinless thighs
3/4 c. low-fat buttermilk
2 or 3 drops hot sauce
1/2 cup crushed cornflakes (crush first then measure)
3 Tbsp. Flour
salt and pepper to taste
3 tsp canola oil


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray large pan with cooking spray.

In one flat bowl mix butter milk and hot sauce. In another mix cornflakes, flour, salt, and pepper. Dip chicken in milk and dredge in cornflake mixture. Place on pan and drizzle with oil.

Bake for 20 to 30 minutes (about 20 with boneless it would be 30 with bones in) then turn over and cook another 10 to 15 minutes.
