Last of the Garden Mixed Pickles

Scald any late fall veggies such as cauliflower heads, small onions, pepper (green or red), diced cucumbers or green beans in salt water until tender. Drain. Pack in jars.

For each pint of vinegar used, add:
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. mustard

Heat this vinegar solution until hot. Pour over pickles and seal.
