Refridgerator Pickles

3 1/2 cups sliced cucumbers
1/2 cup sliced onions
1/2 cup sliced green peppers
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed, optional


In a large glass or crockery bowl, alternately layer the sliced cucumbers,
onion and green pepper. 

Mix the vinegar, sugar, salt, celery seed and mustard seed until the sugar dissolves.
 
Pour over the layered veggies, cover and refrigerate.   

Chill several hours before serving. 

Store them up to 6 weeks in the refrigerator.
