12 green bell pepper
12 red bell pepper
3 large onions
2 pints vinegar
3 Tbs. salt
2 cups sugar
Wash and drain peppers. Chop peppers and onions fine. Cover with boiling water and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Drain and cover with boiling water and return to a boil, then let stand again for 10 minutes. Drain dry, then add vinegar, sugar and salt. Cook for 15 mins.
Pack into hot jars leaving a 1/2 inch space Seal and process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
