Dressing: Jacquies Thousand Island Dressing

Jacquies Thousand Island Dressing

1/3 cup corn oil
4 cups mayonnaise
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup orange juice
1 roasted red pepper, minced
2 Tablespoons horseradish
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup minced celery
1/2 cup minced onion
2 Tablespoons minced chives
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice (1/2 lemon)
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
pinch cayenne pepper
salt and pepper to taste.


Blend all ingredients and chill.

Final Comments: A lower fat version can be made using reduced calorie mayonnaise and omitting the oil.
