Melon Salad
serves 4

2 tablespoons kirsch
3 tablespoons confectioners sugar
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 ripe cantaloupe
1/4 ripe honeydew melon


Stir together kirsch, sugar and butter in a small bowl.

Use a melon baller to scoop melon into little balls. Place in a large serving bowl. Pour kirsch mixture over melon and toss to cover fruit. Refrigerate for up to 3 hours before serving.
