Jello Pretzel Salad

9 ounces pretzels
3/4 cup butter melted
4 tablespoons sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
2 cups Cool Whip
1 cup sugar
6 ounces raspberry Jello
2 cups hot water
1 package frozen strawberries with syrup


Mix together broken up pretzels, butter and sugar. Put in a 13x9x2 pan spreading evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool completely.

Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Stir in Cool Whip. Pour over cooled crust sealing edges.

Mix together hot water and Jello until Jello is dissolved. Stir in thawed strawberries. Pour over cream cheese mixture in pan. Chill until jello jells, approx. 2-3 hour.

Can use strawberry Jello instead.
