German Potato Salad

7 to 8 potatoes, cooked, peeled and sliced
4 to 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, reserving grease
1 small onion, chopped
2 tbl. flour
1/4 Cup vinegar
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 Cup sugar
water


Combine potatoes and bacon.

Saute onion slowly in bacon grease. Add flour and stir well. Add vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar and enough water for a slightly thickened consistency. Simmer a few minutes and gently stir into potatoes.
