Deluxe Coleslaw with Dill Dressing
1 C cored and diced tart apples
2 tsp. lemon juice
3 C finely shredded red and green cabbage
3/4 C raisins
1/2 C thinly sliced celery
1/3 C sliced red onion
1 medium carrot, peeled and shredded
2 green onions with tops, sliced
1/4 C coarsely chopped walnuts
In large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice. Add all other ingredients and dill dressing. Cover
and chill well. Serves 6.
Dill Dressing:
1/2 C sour cream
1/2 C mayonnaise
2 1/2 TBS red wine vinegar
1 1/2 TBS sugar
2 tsp. dill weed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Whisk all ingredients together.
