Greek Burger
1 lb. lean ground beef or ground lamb, or mixture of both
1/4 cup crumbled Feta cheese
1/2 cup finely chopped black olives
4 pita breads
sliced onion
thin sliced pepper strips
diced tomato
Sauce (recipe follows)
Mix meat, feta cheese and chopped black olives. Shape into 4 patties and
grill or broil to desired doneness.
Serve in pitas with sliced red onion and thinly sliced pepper strips and a diced tomato.
Serve with sauce:
Mix 8 oz. plain yogurt with a dash of lemon juice, 1 crushed garlic clove and 1 tsp. oregano.
