Stuffed with Bacon Burgers
12 slices of Bacon, cooked crisp and broken, about 3 slices per burger
1/3 c. catsup (BBQ sauce can be substituted)
1 lb shredded cheese
2 T. scallions (green onion) - diced
1 lb ground round
hamburger buns
Combine first four ingredients. Make 8 very thin burger patties, dividing the pound of beef equally.
Place a large, heaping spoonful of mixture onto 4 burger patties. Top each patty with a second, thin patty of beef. Pinch patties to seal.
Grill 5-10 minutes on each side, depending on your prefence off medium to well done)
