Supreme Grilled Cheese

1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. chopped garlic
6 slices your choice of bread
9 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
9 tomato slices, not too thin or it will get soggy
Fresh basil leaves
9 strips bacon, fried and drained on paper towels
1/4 cup parmesean cheese

Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 375° F.

Heat griddle and melt 1/2 the butter being careful not to let it burn. Sprinkle griddle with 1/2 the garlic and place 3 slices of bread in the griddle making sure the griddle isn't so hot it burns the garlic. Place 1 1/2 ounces of cheese, cover cheese with basil leaves and three slices of tomato on the bread and grill the bread. Once bread is golden brown place on baking sheet.

Prepare the griddle with remaining garlic and butter and place the other three slices of bread in the griddle. Top with the remaining cheese and three slices of bacon. When the bread is golden brown put those three halves on top of the first three halves on the baking sheet.

Place in oven for approx 4 to 8 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is crispy. Sprinkle with parmesean cheese, slice on the diagonal and serve.
