Cheese Sauce

2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
garlic powder to taste
onion powder to taste
1 cup milk
1/4 - 1/2 lb. grated cheddar


Melt butter and stir in flour, cook a minute or two so flour doesn't taste raw. Gradually whisk in mlik and cook over low heat til thickened. Stir in seasonings and cheese until cheese is melted.

Use it over pasta such as rotini with blanched broccoli and carrots mixed. Much like the frozen Pasta Garden dish from the supermarket.
