Lime Sauce

2 garlic cloves
4 green chilies, seeded
3 tbsp. fresh cilantro leaves
2 tbsp. light soy sauce
3 tbsp. sugar
freshly squeezed juice of 1 lime
Place garlic, chilies, cilantro, and soy sauce in a blender or food processor, until smooth. Add sugar and about 6 tbsp. water, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Stir in lime juice and chill until serving.
Recipe suggests: adding to peanut oil and tossed with a crisp green salad or sprinkle over plainly steamed or broiled seafood.
