Lime Sauce
2 garlic cloves
4 green chilies, seeded
3 tbsp. fresh cilantro leaves
2 tbsp. light soy sauce
3 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. water
freshly squeezed juice of 1 lime
Place the garlic, chilies, cilantro and soy sauce in a food processor or blender, blending until smooth. Add the sugar and water, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Stir in the lime juice and chill until serving.
4 servings.
Recipe suggests adding sauce to peanut oil and tossing with a salad, or over plainly steamed or broiled seafood.
