Pesto

2 cups of fresh basil - no stalks or buds
50 gr. pinenuts - toasted
Several tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1-2 cloves garlic or more to taste
100 gr. finely grated Parmesan


Place all ingredients except cheese into blender or food processor and process to a paste. Mortar and pestle can also be used. Add additional olive oil and cheese to achieve desired consistency.
