Pizza Sauce
2 Tbl. vegetable oil
1 cup onion - chopped
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
30 oz. tomatoes - drained
1/2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar
4 oz. tomato paste
1/8 tsp. pepper
Heat oil in saucepan, add onion and cook until soft. Add the remaining
ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Cool a bit and then run it through a food
processor until smooth.
Put on a pizza.
This makes enough for 2 pizzas.
You can also freeze this.
