Tomato Gravy

  Tomato Gravy

  2 Tbsp. shortening (get it hot)  
  3 Tbsp. flour 
  1 medium-sized can tomatoes 
  1/2 can water 
  5 slices bacon 


Heat shortening until hot; add flour and cook until brown.
  
Mash tomatoes and add water. 

Mix; then add to the browned flour. 

Stir and cook for 10 minutes.  

Fry about 5  slices of bacon real crisp, then crumble into gravy mixture. 

Add salt and pepper to taste.
