Bourbon Rosemary Almonds
3 cups whole almonds
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup bourbon
2 Tbsp. water
1/3 cup fresh rosemary, chopped
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. Kosher salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Roast almonds in single layer for 10 - 12 minutes.
Heat sugar, bourbon and water until boiling and boil gently for 10 minutes.
Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl.
Toss almonds with hot syrup and seasoning mixture.
Transfer almonds to buttered baking sheet and immediately pull apart into small clumps with two forks.
Store in tightly covered containers.
