posted by Pat T 06-10-98 6:23 AM Creamed Candied Pecans 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. sour cream 2 Tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 1/2 c. pecan halves (1 1/8 lb.) In 2 quart saucepan, bring sugar, sour cream and butter to boil. Cook to soft ball stage, 238 degrees, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add vanilla and cinnamon. Stir until mixture begins to thicken. Add nuts and stir until well coated. Turn out onto buttered cookie sheet and separate into individual clusters.
