Microwave Caramel Popcorn

Mocrowave Caramel Popcorn

3 quarts popped popcorn
1 cube margarine
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda


Microwave margarine, brown sugar, and corn syrup 3 minutes on high. Stir well and add the soda.

Spray the inside of a brown paper bag with non-stick Cooking spray. Pour popped popcorn into bag, pour sugar/butter mixture over popcorn. Fold bag down and shake.

Microwave bag for 1 1/2 minutes on high. Repeat the shaking and microwaving 2 more times.

Spread out on wax paper or foil to cool.

NOTES: Be careful when pouring finished carmel corn out...bag is very greasy and hot!
