Microwave Carmel Corn
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 Stick Butter
1/4 cup Corn Syrup
1/2 tsp. Salt
15 cups Popped Popcorn
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Bring sugar, butter, syrup and salt to a boil and boil 2 minutes. Add 1/2 tsp. baking soda and mix until foamy. Pour mix over popped corn in a brown paper bag (grocery store bag)and shake well.
Rolling bag tightly and put in microwave oven for 1 1/2 minutes (high) take out and shake well. Put back in microwave and cook an additional 1 1/2 minutes. Shake well. Pour out onto waxed paper to cool then put in a sealed container.
If you make it when it is humid outside the popcorn will be a little chewie.
