Seasoned Snack Mix
1 cup whole almonds
1 tbl. instant minced onions
3 tbl. butter or margarine
grated zest of 1 lemon
1 tbl. dried, crushed parsley leaves
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt or powder
4 cups assorted bite-sized cereals such as Shredded Wheat or Corn Chex
Saute almonds and onion in butter until lightly toasted.
Add zest, parsley, seasoned salt and garlic; mix well.
Add cereals.
Heat, stirring until well coated.
Cool. Makes 5 cups.
