Peanut Break
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 pkg. Betty CrockerŽ yellow cake mix
2 cup Spanish peanuts
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Beat eggs, butter, sugar and half of the cake mix (dry) until smooth.
Stir in remaining cake mix and the nuts. (Dough will be stiff).
Divide dough between 2 ungreased baking sheets. (If dough is sticky, press with floured fingers).
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 10 to 12 minutes and loosen from baking sheets and break into pieces.
High Altitude: divide dough among 3 baking sheets, pres dough into rectangle 13x8.
