1 large onion -- chopped
4 cloves garlic -- chopped
3 pounds tomatoes -- peeled and chopped
1/2 bunch cilantro
6 cups chicken or veggie broth
1 roasted poblano or jalapenos
3 corn tortillas -- torn in bits
