Pasta e Fagioli

1 tbsp. olive oil
2 large cloves garlic, crushed
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 cup elbow macaroni
1 can cannellline beans
1/8 cup dried parsley
salt, pepper, water and red wine


Saute garlic in olive oil until aromatic. Add tomato sauce, 1 sauce can with a mixture of wine and water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Add macaroni and beans with their liquid, salt, pepper and parsley. Bring to a boil and simmer until the macaroni are done.

You may need to add more liquid. The noodles will absorb the liquid so leftovers are like a stew.

Serve with parmesan cheese
