Seafood: Fish Soup

Fish soup

1 large yellow onion, thickly sliced
4-5 large firm potatotes
300 - 500 grams kipper, cod or salmon with no bones
bunch of dill
30 grams (1 oz) butter
1/3 litre water
2/3 litre milk, preferably 1 to 1,5 %


Boil the potatoes and onion in water for 15 minutes, add fish and butter, let simmer until the dill, fish and potatoes are done. Add milk and bring to boil. Remove dill. Serve immediately with rye bread.
