Curried Tomato Soup

24 ounces more or less peeled, cut up tomatoes
1 1/2 Tbl. butter
2 Tbl. flour
1/2 tsp. curry - or more
2 cups milk
1 Tbl. brown sugar
seasoned salt


Puree tomatoes in blender and strain to remove seeds. Heat to boiling.

In another pan melt butter, stir in flour and curry - cook gently a moment. Gradually stir in milk off heat. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and boiling.

Gradualy add hot tomato puree, seasoned salt and brown sugar. Be sure there are no lumps. Serve immediately.
