Deli Style Tomato Soup
1 can cream of celery soup (low fat)
1 can tomato soup
1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes, with juice
2 (5.5 oz.) cans V-8 juice
1/2 cup skim milk
2 cups water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 1/2 T. dried minced onion
3/4 t dried basil (more or less to taste)
1/4 cup dry measure small pasta shells or ditalini
Cook the dry pasta according to package instructions.
While the pasta is cooking, combine the remaining ingredients except the basil. Simmer for 5 minutes or so until the soups are blended. Add the cooked pasta and the dried basil and continue simmering for 5-10 minutes...
