Pork: Mexican Pork Chops

Mexican Pork Chops

4-6 pork chops
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup water
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 package taco seasoning mix


In a skillet saute onion in butter. Remove to dish. Place chops in skillet and light brown on both sides. Place in a 11" x 7" pan. Return onions to skillet. Stir in water, undiluted soup and taco seasoning. Stir over medium heat until well blended and begins to simmer. Pour over chops. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with white rice.
