Beets with Pineapple

2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (8-1/2 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 (1 lb.) can sliced beets, drained
Place all ingred. except drained beets in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil, reduce to medium, stirring constantly until
thickened and bubbly.
Add beets and heat through.
