Brussel Sprouts and Peas in Brown Butter
2 (10 oz.) packages frozen brussel sprouts
1 med. lemon
4 TBSP. butter
1 (10 oz.) package frozen peas
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Slice the brussel sprouts into 1/4" slices.
From the lemon grate 1/4 tsp zest and squeeze 1 TBSP juice.
In a 12" skillet melt butter on medium high, cook 2 min. or till golden brown.
Add sprouts and 1/4 Cup water. Cook 10 min. Reduce heat to low.
Add lemon zest, peas, salt,
pepper and 1/4 Cup water. Cook 5 min or till sprouts are tender. Stir in lemon juice and serve.
