Jo's Cabbage

Cabbage

1 cabbage
1 onion, sliced or chopped
1/2 stick butter (4 tbl.)
3 or 4 tbl. undiluted frozen apple juice
salt and pepper, to taste
caraway seeds, optional


Cut the cabbage into bite-size pieces. Slice or chop an onion to go into the pan with it.

Melt 1/2 stick butter on the bottom of a deep pan or pot, add the onion and cabbage. Add apple juice (this cuts the acid). Cover pot with tight-fitting lid and cook on low heat til tender.
