Cabbage and Sweetpea Envelopes

1 large cabbage (about 3 lbs.)
2 lbs. sweetpeas
2 lbs. mussels
water
salt
ground white pepper
4 tablespoons oil
3 ozs. butter, no substitute


Boil the cabbage in water until done, and also the peas, each in a different pot.

With the cabbage leaves make envelopes with a dab of butter inside, put in a plate and put the peas all around.

Cover with the mussels, previously fried with salt and pepper. Serve very hot.
