posted by Sandy Wells 06-08-98 3:58 PM Cinnamon Baked Yams 2 Tbl. light brown sugar 1/2 tsp. cinammon 1/4 tsp. salt 2 (18 oz.) cans yams, drained 2 Tbl. butter/margarine, melted Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a baking dish. In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinammon and salt. Slice yams, lengthwise 1/4" thick and place in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with the sugar mixture and spoon on some of the melted butter. Repeat layering until all yams are used. Bake for 25 minutes or until tender and sugar is bubbly. 6-8 servings.
