Fried Corn

Fried Corn

8 ears of corn, cut off the cob including the corn milk
1/4 cup bacon grease
1 cup half and half
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. butter (more if you want)


Add corn to hot grease. Add next 3 ingredients and cook about 25 minutes, stirring often. Add butter and cook about five minutes longer.
