Elegant Green Beans

4 cups cooked green beans 
1/2 cup chopped onion 
3 tbsp. butter or margarine 
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour 
2 tbsp. sugar 
2 tbsp. vinegar 
1/4 cup snipped parsley 
1 cup dairy sour cream 
3 slices bacon, cooked crisp 


Drain beans, reserving 1 cup liquid. 

Cook onion in butter until soft.  Stir in flour.   Stir in bean liquid, sugar, vinegar and parsely.   Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. 
 Add sour cream and pour over the beans; heat through but do not boil.

Crumble bacon over top.

Makes 6-8 servings.
