Baton Rouge Green Beans

1 lb. fresh green beans, or 2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen green beans, cooked
2 cups (1 lb. can) tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 tsp. onion salt


Cook green beans until tender. Combine green beans, tomatoes, celery, green pepper, onion and salt, if using, and cook over medium heat about 15 minutes or until heated through.
