Sour Cream Green Beans

1 can French cut green beans
3 slices bacon
1/2 cup onion, minced
3 Tbsp. butter
1 cup dairy sour cream
3/4 cup mild Cheddar cheese, grated


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cook beans with slices of bacon over low heat for half an hour. Simmer minced onion in melted butter until tender. Add dairy sour cream to cooked onion and heat well. Pour green beans into casserole, then pour sour cream onion mixture over them. Top casserole with grated cheese. Bake in slow 325 degrees oven for 30 minutes.
