Green Beans in Mushrooms

Green Beans in Mushrooms ("The Passover Gourmet")
Serves 4

1 bag (16-oz.) frozen green beans
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
salt and pepper



Cook the beans in 2 cups of water for ten minutes and drain thoroughly.

In the meantime, rinse the mushrooms an dry them in paper towels. Cut each mushroom in half and saute them in the butter for about 10 minutes or until golden.

Add the beans, season with salt and pepper and cook for 5 more minutes. Serve immediately.
