Escalloped Potatoes

2 pounds frozen hash brown potatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can (about 10 oz.) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup margarine, melted
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
2 cups sour cream or plain yogurt
2 cup corn flakes, crushed with 1/4 cup margarine, melted.


Thaw potatoes and combine with other ingredients. Sprinkle the buttered corn flakes on top. Use a 3 quart flat baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 10 to 12.
