Jansen's Temptation
6 medium Potatoes, peeled and sliced wafer thin
12 anchovy fillets, drained and cut into piecs
1 onion, diced fine
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups light cream
2 tablespoons butter.
Preheat oven to 350'.
Place a layer of 1/2 the potatoes in a buttered baking dish. Top with anchovies and onions. Sprinkle with pepper and top with the remaining potatoes. Pour cream over the mixture and dot with butter. Bake about 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender and the top delicately browned.
