Acorn Squash

Baked Acorn Squash

1 acorn squash, halved lengthwise
3 Tbsp. dark brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Remove seeds from center of squash and place squash,cut side up, in oven proof dish.

Cover with foil or waxed paper and bake at until there's no resistance when you poke the flesh with a sharp knife.

Serve in a bowl and just scoop out the insides.

Makes 2 servings
