Acorn Squash with Sausage
1 acorn squash
1/2 lb. breakfast sausage
Maple syrup (optional)
Preheat oven to 350.
Halve squash lengthwise and scoop out all seeds and strings.
Divide sausage between squash halves.
Place in a baking dish and cover with foil.
Bake for about 1 hour.
Remove from oven and drain off fat, leaving sausage in squash halves.
Top each with about 1 Tbsp. maple syrup.
Serves 2.
