Sweet and Sour Green Beans

2 cups green beans, canned and drained, or frozen or fresh steamed
2 slices bacon
1/2 small onion,chopped
2 1/2 tbls. sugar
2 1/2 tbls. vinegar


Saute bacon until done. Remove and set aside on paper toweling. Reserve 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.

Saute chopped onion in the bacon drippings until transparent, add sugar and stir until it dissolves. Add bacon which you have crumbled up, vinegar and beans.

Heat through and serve.
