Tomatoes Vinaigrette
Makes 6 servings

1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon green onion minced
1/4 teaspoon thyme dried, crushed
Freshly ground pepper to taste
1 clove garlic cut into quarters
5 tomatoes ripe, thickly sliced


Combine all ingredients, except tomatoes, in blender or food processor; blend well. Refrigerate for 24 hours.

A couple of hours before serving, spoon vinaigrette over tomato slices and refrigerate. Drain off excess marinade before serving.

Note: Marinade may be used again. Keep refrigerated in covered jar.
